چکیده

Abstract The current research aimed to use waste treat waste; recycling of acrylic fibers combined with nano-chitosan for as an adsorbent remove Congo red (CR) from wastewater. Acrylic (AF) were mixed (NCh) different ratios and converted into films by using phase inversion method prepare two nanocomposites coded, AF-NCh AF-NCh-Epichlorohydrin. have been characterized using; Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscope, surface area, thermal analysis. results revealed successful incorporation NCh AF matrix highly porous structure. Different parameters affecting adsorption efficiency such as, CR concentrations, dose, effect time pH employed. Adsorption isotherms kinetic studies evaluations applied assess the mechanism rate. Results declared that, maximum capacities AF-NCh-Epichlorohydrin 169 230 mg/g respectively. isotherm obey Langmuir pseudo second order models. Regeneration synthesized composite studied five cycles showed relative stable reading high efficiency. Graphical

Gas adsorption gates based on ultrathin composite polymer films.

High surface area alumina coatings were prepared on surface acoustic wave (SAW) mass balances. These coatings were fabricated by anodic etching of evaporated aluminum films. The coatings consisted of roughly collinear pores penetrating through the monolithic alumina film. The nanoporous (NP) coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, and the pore number density and diameter we...

Removal of Congo red from aqueous solutions using nano-Chitosan

It is now recognized that adsorption using low-cost adsorbents is an effective and economic method for water decontamination. Chitosan is derived by deacetylation of the naturally occurring biopolymer chitin which is the second most abundant polysaccharide in the world after cellulose. In this study, the capacity of the chitosan nanoparticles was studied for the removal of the anionic Congo red...

Adsorption properties of nickel oxide nanoparticles for removal of Congo Red from aqueous solution

The effective removal of dyes from aqueous wastewaters is among the most important issues formany industrialized countries. Removal of Congo Red (CR) dye from aqueous solutions was studiedusing nickel oxide nanoparticles. The operating variables studied were initial pH of solution, adsorbents dosage, temperature and contact time. The morphological information of nickel oxidenanoparticles were ch...

Novel ammonia sensor based on polyaniline/polylactic acid composite films

We propose a new type of ammonia sensor based on composite film between polyaniline (emeraldine base) dissolved in dimethylformamide, and poly(DL-lactic) acid dissolved in chloroform. The two solutions were mixed in weight ratio of the components 1:1 and cast on Al2O3 substrate, on which silver electrodes were deposited previously. The active layer structure and morphology were examined by atom...
